Paint peeling off the walls in the bathroom, holes in the sofa, only 2 of the 4 slice toaster working, the heating wasnt working on arrival, luckily my husband knew how to fix it, also there was no wifi. Plus points close to city centre-25 minute walk and a parking space"

"I advise everyone, DO NOT STAY at this property, keep on looking for something else. The rooms smelt of smoke, the hallways and stairs smelt like a bar, the people’s staying in the other rooms looked dodgy, this place is a craic den, and to top it all off the owners didn’t care about the issues. "

"Lovely olde worked pub lots of character and lovely and clean. Staff very friendly . Breakfast was very good and good quality. "

"We had a really enjoyable stay at Townend Farm and Julie was extremely helpful booking a meal at the Tiger Inn and also giving us information about local bus services The breakfast was a really good standard and cooked perfectly . Our only concern was that the rooms were on the second floor with steep staircases which made it difficult to carry suitcases and to access the rooms.Perhaps it might be worth pointing out on the website Thankyou Julie for a lovely stay "
