Lovely big room and excellent value for money. We have paid twice as much for half as nice in other places. Very pleasant staff and everything is very clean and well maintained. Comfortable bed. My husband enjoyed the large 20m swimming pool. We had a great stay and would be happy to return

My 3-night stay in January was nothing short of wonderful. My room was extremely well appointed and comfortable, with a lovely bathroom. The White Lion is a very quaint, cozy hotel. Our room was beautiful. Comfortable and clean. We ate in the restaurant for dinner and breakfast and both were delicious. The staff was friendly and helpful. We enjoyed our stay and would stay there again.

I was driving from Skye to Skipton for Yarn dale. I didn't arrive till 1 or 2am. The staff was very nice and helpful. I stayed for 2 nights and I was relaxed and comfortable. The food and services were outstanding.

I had a choice of hotels in Leeds or the Black Horse. I'm so glad I chose the latter. Some extra driving, but great to be in a historic building in a historic area, and so close to the motorway and service station.

Booked this after reading mixed reviews and so glad I did. Superior Room on 7th floor was excellent with great views and was clean and in good order throughout. Air conditioning was spot-on. Great hotel, handy for the theatre, good breakfast and decent price. All good, would recommend and use again.
