We stepped out of our spacious, modern, beautifully decorated room after a free shuttle ride whose driver met us inside the airport! A comfortable 15 minute ride from the airport! Love this place --staff, security, my suite, coffee and food was 5 star....Met the owner and his daughter and what a great story they had to share. I can nit express enough gratitude on how they made my stay PERFECT. Only place to stay in JOBURG....coming back in a few months...

As a woman traveling alone my top priority is always safety. This was my first trip to South Africa and i was a bit nervous. Arthur promptly picked me up from the airport and I felt safe. I just needed a place to get a hot shower, some good sleep, and a hot meal. It was a quick overnight stop for me in between flights. I could not have asked for a better experience. Highly recommend, especially if you are a solo traveler with safety concerns.

Safari Club was a wonderful experience for me! I traveled alone to Johannesburg and the staff were so kind and helpful! They made arrangements to pick me up from the airport and for a driver to show me around the city the next day! I would highly recommend!

This is a very nice hotel. Our travel itinerary had us flying into the Johannesburg airport late afternoon and flying out the next day, so we booked this because it looked close to the airport. It is actually attached to the airport, above the parking lot, with a fully enclosed walkway from baggage claim to the hotel. (Grab a luggage cart, it is a long walk.) The hotel is surprisingly nice! I wanted to share my experience at the wonderful Afrique Boutique Hotel we stayed at during the recent electricity outages. The room had a partial view of a beautiful garden where birds would come to feed and hearing them sing made our stay even more peaceful. The decor was exceptional- exquisite paintings adorned the bedrooms, lounges and restaurant, creating a truly elegant atmosphere. The place is perfect. Very clean and comfortable. WiFi, Washer dryer, shower is great and The hosts are great. It’s close to the airport. Would highly recommend. I’ll be back.

The Southern Sun property was excellent ... just a perfect & so close to JNB...we had a lovely lunch & dinner & enjoyed the superb shop on property...all staff were so gracious....mk

Overall, it was a clean well maintained hotel. Staff was friendly and helpful. Breakfast was just perfect and worth the cost. If your room is ready to check in early - you need to pay a few bucks per hour. The shuttle ride to the airport/hotel is on the hourly schedule.
