"We found our room to be spacious and clean. We had a good view over the canal basin from our window. The hotel restaurant was lovely too. We had breakfast and found the food choices good. The staff were very helpful too. Would definitely stay at this hotel again."

"Stayed here for a gig in Liverpool, in terms of the hotel building and furnishings, it's starting to show it's age a little, could do with a refurb, however for the cheap price we paid, I didn't mind it. Staff were absolutely lovely from start to finish, 10-15 mins walk to the nearest Merseyrail station for links into Chester and Liverpool. Overall would recommend if you're looking for somewhere cheap and cheerful in the Wirral."

"Lovely hotel with great sized en suite rooms. Good welcome. Comfortable bed. Nice bathroom and shower. Great views and nice quiet location. Free parking. Signed from the main road so easy to find. Nice breakfast too help yourself continental "

"I have stayed at Inglewood Manor many times. The grounds are spectacular and a true "heaven" after a hard day’s work. Rooms are outstanding and clean with firm mattresses that are just right for me. WiFi was OK. However, service this stay was a let down. At check-in, there was an issue with my Expedia VIP voucher. I find it frustrating that Expedia advertises these if the hotel doesn't honor them. I got frustrated because of the principle of being promised something. The staff member eventually offered their own 20% food and drink voucher, but he should have led with that to avoid the frustration. That evening, I wanted to eat on the garden patio. Reception didn't know if I could have restaurant meals there and couldn't be asked to find out, telling me to ask the bar. The young bartender looked at me blankly, said he didn't know, and just pointed out the lounge. When I repeated I wanted to eat outside, he finally said he would find out. I took my drink and waited, but no one ever came back. Since I had my laptop out, I wasn't going to pack everything up to ask again, so I went to bed without dinner. Breakfast was good and staff there were friendly. At check-out, I was told the voucher should have been given to the restaurant. They discounted the drink but not breakfast, claiming it "wasn't at their restaurant." It is not about a measly few pounds, but the principle. I love staying here, but the staff were very hit and miss this time."

"Parking was good . No hot food , no bar "

"Room was tired, duvet was below standard and lumpy, mattress should have been thrown on the tip 10 years ago. The bathroom was in need of a refit too. I tired the restaurant, ordered the prawn chilli linguine, looked forward to it but was very disappointed. Linguine was in a watery, flavourless soup, tinned tomatoes with a bit of black pepper and some prawns. I ate the prawns and left the dining room, £18 was also a bit steep!! Reception played music so loud I could hear it in my room, with the TV on and my door closed. The grounds were nice, although the "pond" at the end of the garden had rubbish in it and the water was not pleasant. Unfortunately I won't be going back, wasn't value for money, Premier Inn would have been better!!"
