"Terrible hotel where the only positive thing is the location. The communication in booking and in general at the hotel is not existing. An example is the bar that opened at random times during the week and the staff did not know anything about it. We booked a room with breakfast and access to spa. Turned out that the spa access was only once during the week - BAD communication. But the worst was the condition of the spa area. It was all very old and only half of the features that worked. "Barceló was a very beautiful clean hotel. Rooms are spacious and a nice place to relax and explore Madrid as it is located next to via grand which basically connects to all the museums and palaces and shopping. Rooms have A/C breakfast was good and nice aromas in lobbies and hallways. Very little channels on the tv a few channels in English but I would highly recommend staying here. "
