"Room was clean and was ready for us. Staff very nice and friendly. Domestic staff cleaning were very polite and friendly too. Breakfast was amazing with plenty of choice. There was work going on in the hotel but it was well contained. We have stayed here many times as we have family in the area. Would definitely recommend this hotel and stay again"

Classic Lodges The Old Swan Hotel

"We arrived early, though we couldnt check in early we were given our parking pass so we could park up amd go exploring. The car park is right on site amd easily accessible. The staff were all friendly and helpful. Breakfast was nice and the coffee was amazing. The bed was very comfortable to get in after a lovely long soak in the bath. No issues with the tv. In a closet there were tea/coffee making equipment, hairdryer, iron and trouser press. Oh and there was also an electric fan which was amazing as it was such a hot day."

Cedar Court Harrogate

"The suites are beautifully decorated and very spacious. It’s such a relaxing environment for properly unwinding. However the pillows aren’t very comfortable. My only other issues were with the cleanliness of the room. Hairs were found on the desk. Drink marks in 2 areas from previous occupants, dust under the coffee table. Also the tumblers in the bathroom need to be thrown away as they were not fit for further use. There was some noise coming from a few loud guests up to 10.30-11pm who were in the outdoor bar/restaurant. It wasn’t too much of an issue on a Monday night but weekends could be quite different depending on which room you are in. The bar area is nice and the cost of drinks is quite reasonable considering the location."

The Corn Mill Lodge Hotel

"Absolutely fantastic hotel to stay in. Receptionist was so helpful, and couldn't do enough to help us out. So nice. We needed to order food for members of out party who would not arrive until after the last orders needed to be in to the kitchen. We were able to place the order for them and it was brought to the table once the party arrived. Then we had some specific requests for early breakfasts and this was all handled very well. The hotel is clean and very comfortable. Restaurant is great and the food was delicious. The location of the hotel was very convenient for the places that we had to visit. Overall, I cannot fault this hotel at all."

Mercure Bradford, Bankfield Hotel

8/10 Good

"The building is tired and needs a lot of TLC but all the staff were expectional and couldn't do enough. Easy parking and good location. Room was 'dated' but functional and clean, with a bath (bonus!) and very comfy firm beds. We paid for breakfast and said it would be 10.45 before we arrived, but were there by 10.35 in the end (Breakfast is served until 11am). We had to ask for the food to be replenished and at first was told there were no more pastries (essential park of breakfast) but then chef agreed to cook us some. If breakfast is advertised as until 11am, at at cost of over £15, then i'd expect all breakfast items to be available until this time."

Village Hotel Leeds North

8/10 Good

"It is a nice place especially for the younger person. The dining room was very large and doubled as the bar. Plenty of parking at the front including some disabled bays. It stands adjacent to a main road and a little distance to nearby shops but buses run passed it so , if you haven't got a car it's take a bus or a taxi. We stayed for a couple of nights and had no problems at all."
