"Room was okay. Temperature control was ineffective in that it didn’t matter what temperature is was put too it just billowed out cold air, even when set to 26 degrees."

"We got a free upgrade and the room was beautiful. Hotel provides coffe, tea, biscuts, complimentary still and sparkling water and toiletries! So impressed! Bed is really comfortable. Didnt use the apa facilities, but good to know that even after check out at 11am you can still use the spa till 1pm. "

"Cottage was nice overall, but the bed was not a Kingsize as advertised and was super hard. We are not small people and I always avoid accommodation that doesn't have a KS bed. We struggled for the 6 days we were there with both the size and firmness. The surroundings in the grounds of the main house are lovely. Pool was large and a nice cool temperature, but really needed cleaning/filtering daily due to the amount of dead insects floating on the surface, and therefore not great for actual swimming. Shower was the best I've had in a long time. Toilet had a proper flush too! Unfortunately M20/M25 road noise is annoying and hard to block out. Overall a nice 6 days away, aside from the bed being a standard double and far too hard. ~X~"

"A nice cottage set in lovely well maintained grounds, with a swimming pool and a hot tub too. We used this cottage as a base to explore the local area and found some nice places to visit.Dartford Central park is nice with a lake, café, exercise equipment, play area for kids etc. We also went to checkers pub for Sunday lunch which nice but you need to book."
