"Parking was good. First impression was not good. Cigarette butts everywhere when walking to door. Inside is rundown. Not what I was expecting from pictures. Room was ok clean. Cover on bed was stained and had rips in it. Took a while for water to get hot. Overall stay was ok."

"I have stayed here 3 times over several years, and this will be last time i stay here. It has gone downhill so much. The homeless hang out on the front lobby and all around the building. Only door that works is the front door. Elevator is barely working and was even shut down at one point. Breakfast EVERY morning for a week was eggs and sausage links. Toaster barely toasts bread or begal. Room has wall mount heater/ac, but no labels, have to just guess and what to see what comes out. Once its running, it sounda like a plane in your room because its so loud. This place is so terrible i actually considered getting another hotel and just dealing with the price of 2 places. Price is affordable, yes. But so many better places around town to feel safe and comfortable. "

"The staff was friendly and the rooms were basic but clean. The location is good and close to restaurants and shopping. The only complaint I have, and as an Alaskan I understand that keeping a parking lot clear in the early spring is difficult, but the lot at the hotel was in terrible shape. A professional loader needs to come in for a good scraping. No effort was made at all to clean out handicapped parking and just walking to the door was treacherous. The poor parking lot maintenance this time of year was neglectful and no place to cut corners. The owner needs to do better. It is a huge safety hazard, especially to disabled guests. "

"Everything was fresh and full. The attendant was present and kept everything clean and restocked. There was something for everyone and plenty to go around."

"Stayed next to a drunk and a tweaker. I'm glad I deadbolt my room because sometime between going to bed and leaving the lock failed and would not secure. Will never stay again"
