Hotel provides mineral water bottles in a fridge that we can pick up easily. Exceptional service at the front desk as they provided cold drinks upon arrival and afternoon tea as one of our rooms were not ready. Hotel is new and clean. Excellent deco and attention to details. "It’s a home stay not hotel. No receptionist, pickup driver does it all. I doubted very much this place has any license to host foreigners. The surrounding area is terrible, in an alley, fear to stay and worried for safety. The pictures shown on Hotel,com is totally misleading. For foreigners, it’s hard to find any transportation or taxi to go anywhere (no local cellphone). I basically couldn’t run fast enough to get out of that place. "

"Even the 10 score on hotels.com and the pictures of the hotel did not prepare us for how majestic this guest house would be. It is location in a park in the middle of Xi'an so the surrounding area is out of the congested part of town,although it is a little difficult to find. As we arrived at the hotel it was like going back into a different period of China that would be fit for any Emperor. The room had grand decor with a large bath and shower to relax in. Outside our room we had our own tea...
