"Check in was super easy, but the receptionist was a bit miserable, no welcome or any friendliness. The shower was dirty, the limescale on the glass was so bad and really showed up once it was steamy in the bathroom. There was a thick layer of dust on the plug sockets in the bedrooms and the 'pool' out the back didn't look very welcoming... The toilet also had a yellow rim around the edging/grout. And screws missing from the shelves, made it all looked like it was a rushed job and no care was taken in the update of the room. The bed however was comfy and we slept well until the morning when the next door guests were up and about and the children were running up and down the stairs. "

"Arrived an hour after check in had opened and reception was deserted. No bell to attract attention, had to phone them up (which rang the phone in front of us) and ask them to come to reception. We had booked a room with a private spa pool, but couldn't fill it up. Hubbie returned to reception and came back with the tale that they had run out of hot water because other units had filled their pools up. Even at 8am the next morning there was still no hot water for our spa pool. The only redeeming feature was the bed sheets were very clean and white. "

"Manky hotel needing a serious upgrade! Got ‘upgraded’ to a room that overlooked a pile of weeds instead of the race course. Shower was mouldy & the bath out on the veranda is very odd. Never trust the photos online. "

"This is a wonderful place with a lot of amenities. Though with kids playing miniature golf and yelling around the pool — all in the central area — it can be noisy in the rooms."
