"The proprietors are beyond fantastic!! They offer a set meal dinner every night (menu changes) and it’s fantastic!!! Breakfast and coffee are wonderful too. Coin operated washer dryer was great! They helped us get our add on tickets to our Swiss rail pass to get to the must see mountain tops was extremely helpful! I’m telling you this place is great! No AC but they did give me a fan for the room that worked out perfectly."

"Let me start with the positive - we stayed in room 301. The room has a million-dollar view of Grendlerwald Valley. The staff is very helpful. The property is just less than half a mile from the station. The rooms and the property are very clean. The property has an elevator. Now the cons: the hotel is located on a steep uphill, and it is impossible to reach it by walking with heavy luggage. The property should consider providing a free drop-off and pick-up from the station. When I asked for a pickup, they told me I needed to pay 50 CHF. The bathroom in the room is extremely small. You can hardly stand in the bathroom. The breakfast is good, but it's almost the same every day. Please consider making some changes every day."

"We loved this charming, beautiful chalet. The views are great, the spaces are well set up and comfortable. We loved the picnic table on the patio for lunch and the sun porch for breakfast. We cooked a lot and the kitchen is well-stocked with pans and utensils. The painted woodwork was delightful. The location just outside of Grindelwald was perfect for hiking and other adventures. Cascia, our host, was friendly and responsive. We would return!"
