"Everything about the house is fantastic with great views across Lake Como. The hosts, Danielle and Marco were flgreat and greeted us upon arrival. We were very spoilt with a bottle of bubbly and delicious snacks. The house was a little further out of Varenna than we thought, but we love to walk and we think we left fitter than when we arrived. We would definitely recommend staying at El Lavandee."

"Very nice clean place in beautiful location. Small but upscale. We enjoyed our 4 nights there very much. Seems quite luxurious for the size and all the amenities were there with a nice feeling of privacy. It was a big help that there was a washer/dryer. The only two things I can call drawbacks wouldn't even matter for most people. It's more like a studio than a one bedroom as there is no door between the kitchen and bedroom areas. My wife is a light sleeper so I couldn't make coffee or breakfast...

"Such a lovely Villa and a helpful property manager. If you're looking for a unique experience and a beautiful get away then this is your place! Amazing view of Bellagio just across the water on Lago Como. Downtown Varenna is just a short 10 minute drive from the Villa but it feels remote and with the Villa being right on the waterfront, the sounds of the water lapping on the rocks below can lull you to sleep at night. I would recommend this property to anyone who has a small to medium sized...
