"Unique, pleasant and full of surprises! Tastefully decorated room, friendly, helpful staff and wholesome breakfast included. Definitely recommended. Beautiful venue and surroundings."

"Very much a party/wedding venue. A very large hotel and hard to park anywhere near the entrance. Room was good and although wedding going on it was quiet in the room."

"Me and my wife had a lovely stay, the staff were friendly and helpful, the room was clean and very nice overall, unfortunately the room we were in was a bit noisy from guests going to and from their rooms, early in the morning outside our room window we were woken by staff moving bins around, the meal we had was very nice and my only complaint would be the waiting time as it took nearly an hour just to get our starter and a drink, the bar was good to but same again waiting to long to be served for a couple of drinks but other than that we would definitely stay again"

"Room beautifully refurbished and clean. Hotel restaurant billing error, no refund as yet. Restaurant discounts available for staying guests. Shared car park good value but needs cleaning and bins, ashtrays overflowing. Staff friendly. Scaffolding on outside of hotel for long term refurb. View from room window obstructed by same scaffolding. AC very good during Aug 2026 heatwave"
