Kokkedal Castle is set in a tranquil location outside of Copenhagen's busy city and serves as an oasis. A nice small and classic hotel in a nice location overlooking a lake that is close to town and the beach. The breakfast was excellent and the patio for drinks is lovely. Dinner was a bit overpriced for what it was but, all in, we would gladly return.

This hotel was a pleasant surprise. It is close to everything has a lovely little café/bar, a great breakfast and I enjoyed the sauna. The staff was also lovely. I would definitely stay here again.

Great location and wonderful breakfast!!!

This will be a strange review in that I didn't leave the room for the entire stay. I didn't eat in the restaurant, and I didn't explore the area, although the area looked to be amazing. I came down with food poisoning and double pneumonia while in Berlin ( on my way to Copenhagen.) The staff could not have been kinder. When, on a Sunday, when I inquired about a clinic, they saw to it that a doctor came to the hotel. That alone makes this hotel stand out in my mind.

Highly recommended Kong Arthur hotel

Loved staying in such a historic and colorful harbor area. Easy walking to Hop On bus stop, canal boat tours, restaurants and walking to a street food area. A little busy due to its location to attractions, but overall the hotel is in a very enjoyable area. For those who expect A/C in their room, the Hotel does not have it, but the room had an electric fan and the weather was cool at night, so I was very comfortable.

Great Location and easy to get to from the train station

The stay was excellent! The facilities were impeccably clean, and the breakfast offered was quite satisfying. The location was superb, and I definitely plan on returning in the future. Additionally, I must commend the hotel staff for their friendliness and helpfulness throughout my stay

Beautiful setting, close to the water (quick walk down the hill) and close to Helsingør. Very good breakfast - far superior to a standard hotel breakfast. Will return.
