The food was excellent and delightfully prepared and presented. The communal bath (which is by reservation) is architecturally interesting and offers a beautiful view of Mount Fuji. Check in is really easy (you'll need to use a translation app at times if you don't speak Japanese). For US Residents who aren't used to sleeping on the floor on just a futon mat or 2, you may be a bit stiff waking up.
