"I can't comment on the hotel itself as I didn't make it past the reception desk. I arrived at about 9:45 p.m. after a long and delayed train journey to be told that my room was out of order due to a leak, and that they had no other rooms available. The man on the desk had zero interest in finding me anywhere else to stay, and seemed to think that arranging a refund was an adequate solution to my need for a bed for the night. There had been no attempt to contact me during the day.

"Bij aankomst in de straat geen bord met Oxford Hotel op het adres van de receptie op nr.16 maar Merit Kensington. Ik kreeg een upgraden van mijn geboekte eenpersoons kamer naar een tweepersoons maar die bleek in het souterrain van nr.12 te zijn met een raampje op luchtschacht met airco units. Toch maar voor de eenpersoons kamer gegaan.
Een vrij smalle kamer nr 106 met een raampje verstopt in de hoek aan de straatkant naast de ingang.
Voorzieningen waren op gemiddeld genomen in orde....
"Found this place after being stranded at Heathrow and it was so good! The room was comfortable and quiet. The front desk staff were amazing! We really appreciated the assistance with booking a taxi at check out, with the staff member even using his own phone to talk to the driver. We would definitely stay again and recommend it to others!"
