"7th floor rooms aren’t very convenient as You need to take 2 separate lifts at opposite ends of a corridor to access your room. During my stay, one of the only 2 lifts to 7th floor was out of action so getting to and from breakfast in the mornings took too long. I tried taking the stairs but once in The stairwell, you can’t get out except thru emergency fire exit doors on ground floor to the street - I couldn’t get back into the rooms corridor. Other than this the room was as great. Pretty basic amenities in the room eg combined body wash and shampoo not separate; no moisturiser, rooms don’t have an iron and the iron I was given had cracked metal base which snagged my dress! It’s auto checking in and checking out so great if you’re on business and dont want to queue for reception etc. "

"Very modern room, clean and spacious. I would take half a star off as the shower water pressure was not very strong but overall this was a great base for exploring Berlin, close to public transport. Good breakfast "

" The hotel is decent and one block from the Stadtmitte station. The personnel… that is a completely different story! Very unfriendly and sometimes rude. Here are some examples: I arrived at 2pm and asked if there was a chance to check in a bit earlier. The answer was: check in is at 3pm, come back later. There is a better way to say things to people who have been traveling for 17 straight hrs to reach Berlin and chose your hotel out of hundreds available! They didn’t even offer to hold my luggage for that hr so I could take a walk. I had to ask for it. The night before check out, I wanted to make sure I paid my bill since I would have left very early the next morning. While I was speaking with the young gentleman at the front desk, he was sharing something on his phone with his colleague, they were looking at the phone and talking in German between themselves. The next morning, at 4 am, I came down to the lobby with my luggage and put my key on the desk since no one was there. After a few minutes the same young gentleman from the night before showed up in the lobby then quickly went out to smoke. He didn’t bother telling me that the revolving door was blocked, even though so he saw me getting into it. When I came out from the side door, he was still smoking and I asked him why he didn’t tell me not to use it. Guys, you really need to invest more in your personnel …I have never seen this kind of rude and unprofessional service at a hotel. I interacted with 4 different front de"

"Location is convenient to U-Bahn. The staff was the least-welcoming we encountered after several other cities with wonderful welcomes. Area is noisy. Rooms get hot, and opening windows is only option to cool the rooms. Awoken numerous times in the night by area noise. Amenities require advance notice to staff. Did not use the breakfast option because it would have cost our family of 4 nearly 100 euro each morning. The room itself was spacious and clean. "
