Wyndham Garden Galena Hotel & Day Spa

"The hotel is located nicely for attractions in and around Galena. We asked for two connecting rooms and the staff was able to arrange that. The rooms were clean and the beds comfortable and the hotel was quiet. There were a couple oddities in that the side table clocks in both rooms did not work. The pool and hot tub area were crowded, as was the breakfast area, but we were there on a weekend. The “orange juice” at breakfast was very watered down."

"It was a nice clean room with everything we needed. Mini fridge, microwave, TV, comfortable bed, blow dryer, and shower. All for a price that didn't leave you broke!"

"Very nice newly constructed cabin in its own wooded 20 acre lot - just as advertised. A little difficult to find at first (our fault and the heavy rain as we arrived) but once the correct turn has been located very easy and simple check in process. The setting is very quiet and secluded which suited us down to the ground yet was only 10 minutes to the centre of Galena with its good selection of restaurants, bars, coffee shops and gift shops. Limited taxi service that we could find but the well equipped kitchen, gas BBQ and enormous fridge freezer makes dining-in a breeze. There is a large covered porch with seating ideal for a glass of wine after dinner. An odd feature as a visitor from the UK was the embedded ammunition in the epoxy dining table top!! A great place to wind down and relax - hope to return someday."
