"We found the food just okay nothing outstanding . The grounds are large with a lot of walking or calling for a cart. The staff is very friendly. The ice maker for our unit didn't work the whole time we were there. If you ordered it by room service we never got it. Had to go to next bldg. and they ran out sometimes. The quiet pool is very nice never went to the large pool but heard people really enjoyed it for all the things going on for entertainment ."

"We stayed from 16th of may to 24th of may. This is definitely doesn't feel like a 5 star hotel. Hotel is big with some nice pools and plenty of loungers. Drinks were good. Food was not good, from undercooked to overcooked to salty to bland to poor quality meats. Staff friendliness was 50/50..... some of the bar tenders and waiters were a little rude. Others were very nice. In particular, someone (who I choose not to name) from guest services was extremely condescending and dismissive. We showed up early in the morning to a scheduled event and the instructor never turned up. Guest services insisted the instructor did show up and we were in the wrong place (which we were not!). Overall it was an OK Hotel, but definitely won't be returning."

"We spent five nights at the Excellence Riviera Cancun over Memorial Day weekend. We had a slight mix up with our room but Samuel rectified it for us. We stayed in a swim up room in Building 6. The beach wasn’t ideal with seaweed but we enjoyed the view and sound of the ocean regardless. They did a great job of trying to keep it clean. We loved the food, the entertainment and especially the lazy river. The dinner on the beach was amazing as well. We have stayed at many Excellence properties and really enjoyed this one. Special shout outs to Jose, Edy, Pablo, Manuel, Samuel and Cecilia."

"We were very satisfied with our stay. The room was clean, comfortable, and well-maintained throughout our visit. The staff were very friendly, welcoming, and always helpful whenever we needed assistance. They made us feel comfortable and taken care of during our entire stay. The pool area was also nice and enjoyable, with plenty of space to relax without feeling too crowded. The overall atmosphere of the hotel was peaceful and relaxing, which made our vacation even better. We truly appreciated the good service, cleanliness, and hospitality. We had a great experience and would definitely recommend this place to others"
