Very nice resort, had a very nice time, staff is great. Food is very good, rooms clean and comfortable. The beach was beautiful and no seaweed the pools were fun! One thing is they could use more entertainment at night. Will definitely stay again and highly recommend.

Such an amazing place. Excellent staff, great food options, beautiful grounds and perfect weather every time. They work hard to keep it beautiful. And everything is close by. We have been there 3 times now and we are going to go back as often as possible!

Loved everything about the property. Room was clean, staff were very friendly and helpful. Food was delicious and drinks were amazing. We didn't do the beach due to the sargassum, but the property did its best to clean it. Highly recommend visiting and will come back.

Definitely recommend although I will say they were doing a little construction but other than that everything was beautiful and the staff was very welcoming and helpful! Also you can book excursions right there if you didn’t plan beforehand!

Had such an amazing stay at the Ocean Royale. We stated in a junior privilege suite in building 10, right across from the pool area. Lots of chairs surrounding the pool with umbrellas if needed. The food was great except the main buffet room was currently under construction so they made it at the Mexican restaurant for buffet and switched some things around, all the food was still great. Roberto the bartender made great drinks also. There was lots of wild life on the property which i really enjoyed. 10/10 would return

First and best all-inclusive out of the country choice for our honeymoon! We felt like royalty here! We easily became friends with so many staff and it was clear they loved their job, which made our stay even more enjoyable! We stayed 9 nights which was the perfect amount of time to adjust and relax. Great opportunities for excursions tooIt was so fun to have the variety of restaurants and food, night entertainment, choices for quieter or more engaged activities, and ocean access! We thought we would have had enough after 9 days but we can't wait to go back maybe for our first anniversary! What a treat! Some staff shout-outs: Salso + Margarita

My boyfriend and I had the best stay at Ocean Maya Royale. There was something for everybody. The entertainment team had an amazing line up of pool games, night shows, and activities in between. Or you can enjoy your day relaxing by the quiet pool or on the beach. All of the restaurant staff, bartenders, and lobby staff were friendly and made us feel at home. We ate at each restaurant and enjoyed all of our food. We also booked a half day excursion through the tour company located in the lobby and had a very memorable experience swimming with sea turtles and visiting a locate cenote. We will definitely visit this property again!

Room was pretty good. Unfortunately I booked an ocean view room so the smell from the seaweed was quit potent as soon as I walked out of my room. Staff was very pleasant and food was really good. I wish the main pool (swim up pool) was a little more clean and the bartenders at the swim up bar were a bit faster with drink orders.

The staff was very friendly. Vivi from the pool activities and Esperanza from the La Hacienda buffet was super nice. The Italian restaurant food was okay. I think the chef should pay more attention when cooking the food. The sushi was delicious at the restaurant and the staff was great too.

Another great stay at Ocean Maya. Looked after by all our friends again Jojo at bar and David in restaurant and all staff in the Hacienda, La Dolce Vita and Blue. Unfortunately we were there during reconstruction of roof of El Charro so was a little noisy. All facilities in the hotel very clean and staff go over board to look after you. Will definitely be back.

The staff was very professional, friendly, and helpful throughout our stay. The food was really good, and we also loved seeing the wildlife throughout the resort. It made the experience feel unique and added to the overall atmosphere. The only downside was the gap between breakfast and lunch. Breakfast ended at 11:00 a.m., while lunch didn’t start until 12:30 p.m., so it would have been nice to have food options available during that time.
