"We were pleasantly surprised when we checked in. This property is well maintained, and the staff is very friendly. My family and I stayed here for three nights and would absolutely book here again. The room was clean, it didn’t smell like pot everywhere, and the parking lot is well lit at night. There were a lot of other families there as well, I’m sure heading to Lego Land. You won’t be disappointed if you book here. "

"I didn't see any but they did give us new towels when we asked. It wasn't the laundry. It was the staff They double book you because they don't want to pay a hotels.com fee and then they say it will fall off. They then decide to not help with their TVs being out because they are in construction or just don't want to help."

"I honestly was surprised there was no microwave, no elevator. When i called for more towels at like 8pm was told they had none and had to wait until the morning. The stay as a whole was just ok. "

"The hotel was built in the 20’s, so it’s not fancy, but it has charm and our room and kitchenette were spotless. The bed was very comfortable, and the room had both an air conditioner and windows that open. The location was perfect. We would definitely stay here again. "

"My room was perfect. a little small but I was out and about and not living in it. Bed was so comfortable and the microwave and fridge were just what I needed. Breakfast was amazing and well stocked. Staff was so kind -everyone from the front desk to the maintenance people. The hot tub was great and I literally walked to the beach. Lots of eating places around and easy access to the interstate. "I have stayed all over Southern California and this location and vibe can’t be beat! Very few kids stay here it is more for adults but my 18 year old daughter and I had the perfect time. The staff is great and very accommodating. For sure take a chance on this one . Tucked between Carlsbad and Encinitas. "
