"A historic pub and hotel , lovely staff, room very clean and comfy and breakfast to order and nice fresh food . Lovely Frome is worth exploring and the pub restaurant very welcoming . An amazing bus service to Bath from the front of hotel.. runs till midnight ! "

"Although our room was small, the finishes were good and we had a very comfortable bed. Good quality bed linens, and a very attractive headboard and blind. The bathroom was newly fitted and certainly was well done. Even a shelf for toiletries - often missing! Decent sized towels too. Just a couple of things less then perfect - tv is too small and the window stay was broken. We did get a good rate though so no complaints! Staff are friendly and efficient- breakfast was very good. The breakfast room is also very attractive as are all the public rooms here. We parked at the rear of the hotel and in warmer months, the terrace would be lovely. We would definitely return - but just upgrade the tv please! "
