"Expensive but good quality "

"The staff were cheerful and friendly, nothing was too much trouble for them. Wayne was lovely, cheerful, a real character! The building is very old, so to get to our room, it was up and down stairs, along corridors, really quaint, but not for someone with limited mobility. - I’m sure you can request a room with easier access. The room itself was ‘small but perfectly formed’, it did what it was supposed to! The paint was peeling off in the bathroom, but it was clean and well stocked with all the toiletries you need. Tea & coffee making facilities were excellent, selection of teas, and coffee bags! Big tick form us there! We ate in the pub too, lovely freshly cooked food, served promptly, and was hot! Breakfast was delicious, selection of cereals, pastries spreads fruit juice etc. lovely strong coffee, and served by the lovely Wayne, what more could we ask for! The car park was ‘tight’ but again, free, - I was just pleased my husband was driving! Overall we had a lovely stay, and would go back again in a jiffy. Thank you everyone! X"

"It seems to be a group of old buildings joined together so hallways and stairs go in all different directions. It was a bit of a challenge finding our way to our room, but great fun at the same time. The people we've talked to have been friendly and helpful. It’s easy walking distance to the cathedral, shopping and parks."
