"A sweet get away for which the highlights included a breezy screened porch and sensational walks right from the property. Easy shopping and neighbors right out of central casting who provided additional restaurant suggestions and general warmth. Would stay here again in a heart beat. I'm a regular at Pod 39 when I come to NYC by myself. It's very minimalist and if I was planning to spend more time in my room, I'd go elsewhere, but exactly what I need when I'm in the city to see shows and check out some exhibitions. Always clean and my room is always ready when I arrive (which has not been my experience at other NYC hotels).

Really nice rooms and beautiful lounge! Great food! Only issue I had was my tv didn't work (an engineer fixed it but within like 12 hours it wasn't working again) and when I went to the hot tub the jets weren't going so it was just like sitting in a hot bath. Still five stars because it's a great place for the price and the staff is all friendly and room service was delicious.

Bulky luggage can be stowed on the roll-out shelf under the bed, and the bedside table has a slide-out shelf to accommodate your laptop. Even though you're in midtown, the hotel's updated windows help block annoying street noise. The funky design elements are amusing, and the overall cleanliness of this hotel is the cherry on top.
