8/10 Good
"Staff are great - rooms very good but need air con and our room was right next to an extractor pipe which started up at 6.30 am ! Breakfast was very good with poached or scrambled eggs to order . It was the same every day of our 3 breakfasts would be nice with a bit more variety. Ate in the main restaurant one night - food very good but not hot enough Pool area nice but in need of repair"

Westhill Country Hotel

Westhill Country Hotel

10/10 Excellent
"Really loved it here. It’s a great location, near to St Helier but with easy access to the rest of the island. The gardens are beautiful and we really loved listening to the birds singing in the aviary every morning. The staff were really attentive. The hotel facilities were great, with a nice bar and restaurant. We were travelling with two dogs, who were made welcome in the hotel by Archie, the resident golden retriever. If we go back to Jersey we will definitely stay at this hotel again."

The Biarritz Hotel

The Biarritz Hotel

10/10 Excellent
"Beautiful location and great 'traditional' hotel, which was clean, friendly and relaxed. The rooms have fans rather than air con and even after the long heat wave had finished, the rooms remained hot and you needed both the fan and the patio doors open. We had 3 sea view balcony rooms and felt the extra was worth it for the view and extra space. They seemed a little short staffed at breakfast during the 9am rush but they remained helpful and friendly - you just need to allow a little more time than for a self serve buffet. A number of other bars and restaurants in easy walking distance, and great walks from the beach make this a great base."

Merton Hotel

Merton Hotel

8/10 Good
"Very much a family oriented hotel with plenty to do for those with children, also a fair share of older coach parties. The staff are friendly and attentive across the board, from housekeeping to the front desk. The rooms are clean and functional, we would have loved to have a small fridge in the room for keeping drinks cold, as it was very warm during our stay. The breakfast selection is standard hotel buffet stuff and sets you up for the day. We did eat in Bonetti’s on the first night, the pizza was fine but probably a bit overpriced. We also used Jersey Joe’s which was fun and with a good selection of US diner type meals. We had the Dirty Dog hotdog which was delicious, with a side order of onion rings which was more than enough for two people!"

Within walking distance of good restaurants, bars, excursions, bike hire and the bus station is very close by with regular buses to the airport."

The Beausite Hotel

The Beausite Hotel

10/10 Excellent
"Really cannot fault our stay here. In a triple room with our granddaughter. Room was comfortable and clean with a great ocean view. Staff were extremely friendly and helpful particularly in accommodating our granddaughter (5yo). The pool was a bonus. Food was super - a good selection at breakfast, with a delicious dinner menu too. Site was an easy bus ride to St Helier...the bus stop being just 3 mins away, with the lovely coastline a further 5 mins walk. Highly recommended."
