"This is a remotely operated aparthotel with an online reception and electronic key sent directly to your mobile phone. Located on a residential street on the edge of town, but still a short walk from the main town and the beach. Very high spec rooms and bathroom with loads of space. If you don't need the benefits of a full service hotel, this is a great option."

"Communication was extremely poor. It took two phone calls (with very friendly staff) and two WhatsApp reminders before we finally received 13 (!) emails. Only one of them contained the correct payment link. The whole process felt rather surreal. Check-in was available from 16:00. We arrived at 16:50, only to find our room was still being cleaned. "A bijou property that was originally a bridge house with views across the canal. There is heat which was needed as cold this week. Unfortunately there is traffic noise. There is no sink in bathroom but we squeezed the shower gel to cover our hands and then washed our hands in the bedroom sink. There are cupboards for clothes and cups, plates, cutlery and hairdryer. If you like different you will enjoy this experience."

The early luggage storage hotel clerks were very friendly and accommodating. We’d definitely love to stay at Sweets again. "
