" A charming Japanese Ryokan with the best view of the famous Miyajima Torii. You can walk to it within 5 minutes during the off hours when the tourists are gone. We loved their 10-course Kaiseki Dinner and their Japanese breakfast. Their shuttle van picks you up at the ferry terminal. You should book your private 30-minute onsen when you check in. "

Unlimited wine at night with all day provided snacks was a cherry on the top. I would recommend it to anyone to stay there who would plan an overnight stay on the island. "A first rate Japanese experience complete with robes, slippers, hot mineral baths, traditional Japanese breakfast, slipping on the floor mats/mattresses. Great rooftop bar with harbor views and free drinks and ice cream. Great location in the center of town on the waterfront. 1) this town has few overnight guests and the bulk of the visitors are day trippers via mainland ferry. The town absolutely closes up by 6:00, not a single bar or separate restaurant remain open. The only places for dinner are the few dining rooms associated with hotels. In this hotel you need to make a reservation during the day so the restaurant can order enough food, if you don’t make a reservation your only other option is a separate less elegant public dining room with a more limited menu. "
