"Staff The different staff recognized us, the return guests, when we check-in and check-out. All of them were friendly with smile and very patient to listen to customers preference. We are very happy with the service and enjoyed the guest room very much during our stay."

"The property was beautiful. Right next to the water. Very peaceful. The rooms and hallways were dated and needed remodeling. Bed was very comfortable. Staff is great. Bar and lounge area comfortable and view beautiful! Self parking needed to be resurfaced!"

"Great resort but a bit far from town. It takes about 15-20 minutes to drive in. The beaches near this property are not great. The staff is very helpful and will bring you whatever you need. We refused the time share presentation because they only offered us $125 for both of us which is a slap in the face offer as far as time shares goes. Checkout is 10:00 AM which is an hour earlier than industry standard. They did move us to 11 when I requested a later checkout but many places will give you until 12 and that would have been useful in our case as delta does not have a flight to the mainland until after 8 PM"

Fairmont Orchid

"The Fairmont is likely as good of a “Resort” property as one could find. I am not a fan of Resorts, But when in Hawaii it is difficult to not stay in one. Fairmont is well presented, certainly not a value proposition, but nicely done. Good food, Bars, Pool, etc. shower in the bathtub was far better than the separate shower. Facility does need some paint and refreshing. Grounds and Location are beautiful. I like Fairmont Hotels and they are a brand I seek out, when traveling."
