The hotel is a nice confortable place very well located walking distance to restaurants and shops. I enjoyed the stay. It’s clean, coffee is so good, has a pool, air conditioning.

Royal Kona Resort
We stayed 3 nights and the Royal Kona is close to shops and restaurants. The property is showing its age and some areas are under renovation. Staff were helpful and baggage and valet staff were working their tails off.

Aston Kona by the Sea
Rooms were clean. The ocean view was spectacular. The staff were friendly. Parking is available. Traffic is an issue. No serious restaurant nearby. If one can afford it, consider using a shuttle service to get around.

Kona Bali Kai
It had adequate parking and plenty of towels. Wish we had noticed a beach chair in one of the closets. Check in and out was super easy. Sea Mountain
The challenge with the property is there are a set of bylaws that renters agree to regarding things like observing quiet hours and no smoking in common areas.
