The hotel has a grand entrance and is very relaxed, some may say bohemian; dark walls, interesting features throughout, lovely bright and comfortable lounge, all in all very good value and only a short walk to the centre of York along a wide avenue-style road, past a park and your first tourist sight is the minster."
