"The area surrounding was amazing, canals, shopping center, old town area was worth exploring. Late night/early morning returning from Amsterdam there were some questionable people about making it feel unsafe if coming back alone. I parked street side less than 2min walk on an EV charger spot where I just had to pay for charging car and not parking. But the receptionist (at the property cafe) said that there is no need to pay for parking between 2100 and 0900 hours. "

"Property is well located for sightseeing and on a busy street with a supermarket and plenty of food options. Staff were friendly enough and bag store was there for keeping luggage safe after checkout etc. It is run down though and if you dont like steep stairs then it's not one to visit (though this can be said of most Amsterdam hotels). "The place is very clean and there’s always a staff member available. However, because there’s a nightclub behind the building, and it’s open 6 days a week, it’s very loud between 8pm and 3-4am. "Strict at the checkin time. You have to pay to store your luggage if you arrive early and I needed to pay twice because their locker was old and a bit confusing. If you have big luggages not recommended to stay in this hostel. I had to carry my luggage on a tiny stairs. Rooms are not soundproof, you can hear everything inside and outside the hotel (they have a bar besides the hostel). I couldn’t sleep on my last night there because the teenagers were laughing and shouting outside till midnight....

"The hotel and facilities was excellent. The staff super friendly and helpful. Breakfast and our evening meal was delicious. The room and the views exceeded our expectations. Using the hotel bikes to get around was great fun and quicker than walking. The area around the hotel was quiet and felt safe.
