"What’s lovely place to stay. Large and comfortable room, excellent facilities and a beautiful ambiance. The breakfast was first class and we received a lovely recommendation for a light evening meal nearby. It is very walkable into the centre of York, but at one point we chose to take the bus and that too is both convenient and easy. We would not hesitate to recommend Ascot House and will make it our first choice on any subsequent visit to York. "
