"Different room this time #209 so little smaller but nicer outlook over the to the hills. Lovely to walk around the cloisters again and this time get to top of tower with clear blue skies. "We were very well received on the first night we arrived. The staff were professional. There was an error on our booking but the staff were able to address it promptly and changed our room immediately. It was a quiet and relaxed stay and we will definitely be going back there in future. My wife and I are very grateful for out stay, it was definitely value for money."

The Kings Head Hotel

The Kings Head Hotel

8/10 Good
"Nice, relaxing stay in the heart of Ross on Wye. Large room, on second floor accessed by an extremely steep winding staircase, which is what you’d expect in an old inn like this. Staff helpful and friendly. Food good and reasonably priced. Only drawbacks were the bathroom which with its sloping ceiling and steps was a bit hazardous and the carpark with its extremely narrow access that many cars would struggle to get in."

"Stayed in a basic room which was clean and comfortable but the bathroom door didn't shut properly and the taps on the bath were very stiff and hard to switch on and off. The staff were very professional and the bar is large and comfortable seating"

Green Dragon Hotel

Green Dragon Hotel

8/10 Good
"We liked the old fashioned grandeur of the place although the halls and doors could probably do with a spruce up. The room was quite large, clean and comfortable with tea and biscuits. The restaurant and bar looked quite nice but we didn’t use them. We thought the breakfast was a bit expensive at almost £40 for two so got some half price locally. We also had to pay £10 for parking nearby. The staff were very friendly, polite and helpful though. All in all we had a nice stay."

The Abbey Great Malvern

The Abbey Great Malvern

8/10 Good
"Our room was clean, spacious the bed was large and very comfortable, our room had great views and whilst we had a small problem with a sticky room door, we reported it and it was dealt with very promptly. We had chosen the hotel due to its location near the Theatre as it was a very short walk. There are plentiful places to eat and coffee shops etc nearby, there is a reasonable sized car park but I imagine there might be a premium on places at the height of the season, we stopped two nights midweek at the end of September. Breakfast was self service, the hot food was refreshed regularly and was plentiful. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this hotel."
