"I really liked the Hotel MIrage. It was very clean and has very friendly staff. While it is not in the heart of Brooklyn activities, I had a car with me that the staff kindly allowed me to marking in the small parking area right behind the hotel."

"The staff was couterous and professional. The general manager was in the dining room and went out of his way to talk to the guest and to make sure their stay was satisfactory. The cleaning staff did an excellent job of keeping the room clean and well stocked. I am always grateful to have breakfast included in the hotel rate. The food was good-you cant expect fine dining, but it was plentiful and had a variety choices. The staff in the dining room, kept everything well stocked. One the last day of my stay, the breakfast was the best. The potatoes, eggs, and sausage were cooked very well. The room was a little too warm for me but I guess thats better than being too cold. I would have liked some type of soap dish for the bar soap on the sink. The room is small but for me & spouse it was okay, can't image more than 2 adults in a room. The bed was comfortable and the linen was clean. It was a great location for us because it was close to our daughters house so we could walk it to her apt. I would stay there again. "

"Pros: Room was modern and clean, and a decent size for a NYC room. Staff was courteous. Location was pretty good, lots of amenities nearby, and not too far from two subway stops. Decent amount of storage (closet space), good amenities in the room, too. Few complaints! Cons: Hotel is noisy! Tile floors, heavy doors (also a good thing), everything echoes, plus all the front rooms are a stones throw from the freeway. Just bring earplugs, though and it'll be fine. Overall, really enjoyed my stay, felt like for NYC it was a good bargain, more than I'd hoped for. I'd stay there again!"

"We liked staying in this out of the way hotel. The staff was so nice and the place was clean. "

"Room was comfy and clean. Space enough for a fridge, 2 full sized beds, a table, bathroom w/shower. Breakfast is available but it's a sack breakfast not the regular breakfast setup. The beverage machine is broke, so no coffee or juices. There's a microwave and ice/water cooler in the breakfast area. This hotel is located next to the train line, so be prepared to deal with the noise if you're a light sleeper. Disappointed in other guests having no regard for others by smoking Marijuana in their rooms. The guest next to my room smoked all day and night, and the smell and smoke permeated my room via the bathroom vent. I woke up in the middle of the night, choking and coughing the first night and another night when i forgot to turn on the bathroom ventilation. I guess this is a normal thing because the entire hotel including the elevators was permeated by the scent of weed. It'd be nice if the hotel management would regulate that. Otherwise, it was a decent stay, staff were courteous and helpful. "
