I stayed there because it was close to my friend's home. I normally stay inside the quarter. The area is as safe as any other area around the quarter. I was cautious but never felt uncomfortable. The staff was very friendly and very helpful.

Very clean hotel close to the Riverwalk, French Quarter and Cruise terminal. They offer a free cruise shuttle that was very easy to use. Breakfast was average but was just enough. We will definitely consider them if we return to New Orleans.

Nice large hotel room. Easy walk to the river and bourbon street. Beignets at cafe du Monde were delicious. Crab cakes at olde Nola cookery were delicious. About a mile from the cruise port. We couldn’t walk because it was raining.

Went with friends who stayed there before. Lovely, comfortable, safe. Beds super comfy. Had everything we needed including a courtyard with tables for guest to sit outside and pool. Coffee n tea. Small bar. Great 24 hr front desk and safe n mini fridge in room. Safe valet parking onsite. Had everything we needed plus great location.

Our stay at the Olivier House Hotel was truly wonderful. From the moment we arrived, the staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming. The curator who decorated this beautifully preserved historic building clearly has an exceptional eye for detail—there are so many charming and unique pieces throughout the property that make it feel special and full of character. This was my first time in NOLA and this hotel was absolutely amazing. The staff were incredible and everyone was so friendly. Perfect location to hit Bourbon St!! Thank you guys for the warm hospitality. Southwest changed our flight and we got into NOLA at 8:15 in the morning. When we got to the hotel we expected to leave our bags and head out, but our room was ready!! I will definitely stay here the next time I visit.

Even though the weather was poor, we still enjoyed our stay. The great location made it so easy to still go places in bad weather.

Such a lovely and charming place. Excellent location right at the end of Frenchman; a very short walk from Three Muses, Spotted Cat and also French Market and Jackson Square. Staff was friendly and helpful. Room was clean and just delightful. My wife and I just love NOLA history and this had the "if these walls could talk" vibe. Absolutely loved it and will definitely be back!

We love the hotel and the room the only problem was we paid for a balcony room and we find out they close off all the balcony in the rooms

Location was excellent! A few places to eat and have a drink inside, great fuse from observatory 11 and from our room; easy walking distance to the French Quarter Bourbon Street and other places. Particular shout out to the guys and the young lady out front that helped us get a cab an Uber or a shuttle. Every day they offered a friendly greeting with a smile and unbounded professionalism. We will recommend this hotel to family and friends that are in that area.
