"I don’t usually write reviews, but on this occasion I thought I must. This is quite a large, modern and clean hotel. Most media sites advertising this place will tell you that it only has limited parking. This is correct. I counted a total of just 33 parking spots and this number includes 4 maybe 5 spots for EV vehicles, plus another 2 handicap spots.
What media advertising sites also fail to tell you is that it will also cost you an additional 15 pounds to park here each night, and that’s if you manage to secure a spot? There is nowhere close to this hotel locally where you can park your car and then walk back to this hotel.
My room (although very clean) lacked the usual hotel desk/table & chair that’s normally provided to help you work if using a Laptop or similar?... When asking where the table was? I was delivered a bedside table measuring 2ft x 2ft square, but still received no chair to sit on?
My room also had no closet (small wardrobe) with coat hangers like most other hotels for hanging clothes? Instead they had what looked like a piece of chain link fencing screwed to the wall with three coat hangers on it?... I guess they are trying to make the place look a little modern?... Not very useful for people staying for longer periods!
I spent two nights here, but only parked and paid (by cash) for my rental vehicle for just one night, plus paid for one morning breakfast -11.95 pounds (I returned the vehicle the very next day to back to the airport).
