"Checking in was seamless and we were greeted most graciously. Our casita, el cocodrillo is gorgeous with a view and terrace on the lagoon. Food, drinks and service are equally on point. We’ll keep coming back. "

"The hotel is small like 14 rooms and Adults only. Breakfast was included in our rate and it was fantastic. Service was very good. Only thing is it is remote, you need a car to travel to other great surrounding areas. Staff was awesome, very friendly and helpful. Free kayaks and they can arrange tours , massages for you They probably need a small gym. The lake in that area is a bit deep so you need to be a good swimmer or ask for their vests which are free too. Beware that the hotel allows people from outside the property for day pass or to eat there, even kids. We did not experience any trouble but most hotels in the area do that."

I spent many hours swimming and simply soaking in the natural beauty of the area. Overall, my stay at Akalki Hotel & Centro Holístico was nothing short of magical.
