"Never told no beach chairs or umbrellas, so could not go to beach. Restaurant tables on top of c each other, u constantly hear others conversations, limited menu. Food was great, especially the steak but u need to offer small steaks, 14 n 16 ounce , lot wasted couldn't eat it c all n with no micrwaves in room couldn't bring to room. Your staff was the best, pool great, outside service great."

"Early evening I received a phone call from the front desk. I was asked if I was still coming! I told them I was, they said “Um, just making sure”. Maybe 5-10 minutes passed and they called again. This time I was asked if I would be open to staying elsewhere. I said “No, I’m traveling with family.” A short pause on their end and then “Ok, you can stay here” I arrived to check in and was asked for ID, I provided it and the clerk looked at it, held it out to the other clerk making a face and pointing out my name. After some back and forth between the staff members and me reminding them that they had already charged my account and that I had made my reservations in February, the staff member said, “Oh, just put her here” while pointing at the computer. I didn’t feel welcome. The rest of the stay went without incident, but I will probably never stay at that Embassy Suites ever again"

"The beauty of the “resort” is its close proximity to the wonderful Siesta Key beach. I use quotations because it’s really just shelter and a pool, although a nice pool. The staff members were very nice and helpful but couldn’t do much for us in upgrading our room as they claim they never got our requests from the 3rd-party broker. "

"The room was pristine, well equipped and spacious. Staff were all friendly and took time to ask where we were from and were super helpful. Breakfast was limited but what was on offer was excellent. We stopped at this hotel for a week in 2025 and were blown away by the quality of this hotel. As we were visiting Sarasota for a couple of days in 2026 we had no hesitation in booking the Carlisle again."
