We stayed for two nights for a wedding in the area and couldn't have picked a better place. Nestled in a lovely, peaceful part of Devon, the B&B was very comfortable. What truly stood out was the hospitality: our hosts were amazingly friendly and full of engaging stories and helpful local insights. Breakfast was freshly prepared and delicious both mornings. An ideal pied-à-terre for a Devon getaway—thank you so much!

Great location and soroubding areas for a good time in Plymouth

We were on a trip around the south coast for my wife's 40th stopping 2 nights in Salcombe. The hotel is in fantastic condition and the rooms are great, especially if you have a water view like we did. Above all this it's the staff that made are stay extra special. They were friendly, knowledgeable, helpful, and this made our stay absolutely fantastic. The hotel is in Center of the town with great walks to bays either side, couldn't be better located.

Great location and walking distance to city centre

The property was well maintained, spacious, clean, and nicely decorated. The property manager was helpful and friendly.

The first room was not good and the heat did not work. But we were moved to a new room. That was absolutely beautiful spacious, working heat, comfortable, clean with sitting area. So the second room gets all the five stars! Staff and food were all wonderful!

On the day of my arrival my husband and I were greeted by the owner Bradley. Bradley assisted us with our luggage and personally escorted us to our room. He gave us the grand tour of the building and explained how the items in the room function (TV, lights etc...) One personal touch that I loved was him offering us a nice hot pot of tea. Realy need air conditioning during hot evenings. Bugs were flying in the rooms.

Great staff, comfortable room and beds, great breakfast, and very convenient location.

Short stay to see Torquay, Peter recommended a great seafood restaurant. We visited some local attractions.

The Villa Marina is run by two of the most wonderful people you could ever meet. Vince and Erwan were amazing hosts who would do anything to ensure you had a wonderful stay. The hotel is super clean, the breakfasts ensured lunch may not be required! A location not far from the sea or town centre and an overall lovely atmosphere. Their knowledge of the local area was well received by everyone which helped guests make the most of their time in Torquay. I can’t thank them enough for making my stay...
