"We enjoyed our week long stay this July at The Royal Yacht. We booked a Gold double. The room was good although we had trouble getting the temperature right, it tended to be cold and every time you left the room the temperature reverted to standard which we found chilly. The breakfast was very good, the food nice and hot tailor made eggs and a brilliant cup of tea, however, the addition of bread and rolls would make it even better. The staff were all very friendly, polite and helpful. The lifts super quick.
We had a balcony overlooking the Museum, I would not recommend being on this side of the hotel as there was a great deal of noise from the museum cafe and Yard bar, parties three nights on the trot and a lot of hubbub on other evenings. Not that we expected pure peace and tranquillity in the centre of St Helier but it did stop us using the balcony as much as we would have liked to. Plus watch out for Seagull marauders!"
