Oakes Hotel Overlooking the Falls

8/10 Good

"The view is a 10, if you stay in the Falls View room. The jacuzzi tub was wonderful as well. We stayed on the 13th floor, which was perfect. The hotel is older and feels somewhat like that, but the view totally makes up for it. The bed was better than average. The jacuzzi room is larger, and ours had a sofabed in a side room with its own TV (we did not need that, but it was nice and we used it for our luggage). There are plenty of restaurants within walking distance. You can also walk to the Falls or take the elevator tram down to the street level where Horseshoe Falls is. Definitely stay on the Canadian side; the view is better. This was on my bucket list, and I feel completely elated with the view and our excursions. Make sure to do the Journey Behind the Falls and the boat to Horseshoe Falls! My rating is really a 4.5."

"We had a great weekend stay at the Vittoria Hotel & Suites. The staff were friendly and accommodating. The room was clean. Breakfast was great. The location is right where the center of activities are. A few minutes walking distance to the Falls. I would stay here again. I definitely recommend."
