"The hotel was actually quite charming but located in a time-worn part of town. We were very disappointed in our first view of our room which was extremely dusty. There was no housekeeping on staff at the time and the front desk receptionist took on the job of cleaning our room for us while we went for dinner. The room, itself, was well-appointed, the bed comfortable and we stayed for two nights. It was an easy drive to Niagara-on-the-Lake and less expensive than anywhere in that town. There was a restaurant on site."

"This was our family's first trip to Canada, and we couldn't have picked a better place to stay while visiting Niagara Falls. The home is in a great location, about a 20-30 minute drive from the falls, with plenty of restaurants, grocery stores, and shops nearby.The neighborhood was quiet and welcoming, and after a day of sightseeing, it was the perfect place to relax. The beds were very comfortable, there were plenty of towels for our family, and we really appreciated the coffee station each morning. The chocolates Amelia & Alex left for us were a delicious and thoughtful welcome.Communication with Amelia & Alex was excellent from the beginning. They always responded quickly and were very friendly and helpful. Since we were traveling with a group of eight, they even opened an additional room so everyone could sleep comfortably. That extra effort really showed how much they cared about their guests. The house was spotless, well-maintained, and exactly as pictured.The only challenge was the stairs with our two-year-old twins, but we knew that before booking. We were grateful that Amelia & Alex provided a baby gate, which made things much easier and gave us extra peace of mind.Overall, this home was clean, comfortable, and perfect for our family's first trip to Canada. We made wonderful memories and wouldn't hesitate to stay here again. We highly recommend The Henley House!"

"My friends and I would stay here again in a heartbeat! In fact, we hope to do a repeat visit next summer and stay in this fantastic property again. All was as advertised or even better and our property host, Alissa, was supremely reachable whenever we had questions. Sunset on the lake is not to be missed and is a ridiculously easy five minute walk away, plus the entire area is full of wonderful things to see and do. Great house, great host, great location - what more could you ask for?"

"The house is in a quite area and very close to great food and shopping.Beds are very comfortable.Downstairs shower was great after a long day.Air conditioner was on when we arrived so house was already cooled.Kitchen had everything we needed.Dinner table was nicely setup for us. My brother has mobility issues, so he was unable to go downstairs for the step in shower.Thank you and all the great people we met."
