"Rooms were large and clean. The staff were great and did all they could to make our stay memorable. The pool was great and the food was excellent, breakfast, lunch and dinner were all very well done. The only caveat to that was the Tomatini restaurant which to our surprise was a little disappointing. This part of the island flies under the radar and is an absolute gem."

"Great stay, room was comfortable and clean, hotel was in a quiet and peaceful area. Pool was nice and the poolside bar was a bonus. Complimentary breakfast was great. Everything needed was close by. No complaints from me!"

"Wir hatten einen wirklich schönen Aufenthalt und können die Unterkunft uneingeschränkt weiterempfehlen. Das Haus war sehr sauber, gepflegt und bestens ausgestattet. Es hat wirklich an nichts gefehlt.Der Gastgeber Vangelis war jederzeit erreichbar, sehr freundlich, hilfsbereit und zuvorkommend. Man hat sich von Anfang an willkommen und gut aufgehoben gefühlt. Besonders gefallen hat uns die familiäre Atmosphäre, durch die wir uns während des gesamten Aufenthalts rundum geborgen gefühlt haben.Mit dem Auto ist der Strand in nur etwa 5 Minuten zu erreichen, was die Lage ebenfalls sehr angenehm macht. Insgesamt war es ein rundum gelungener Aufenthalt und wir würden jederzeit wiederkommen!"

"We had an amazing time, property was fantastic with a wonderful outdoor space to while away the hours in peace. This was a great location to explore southern Crete, there were plenty of restaurants close by for a great meal if you wanted to. Drive up the hill was interesting, but not a problem. The apartment had everything needed and more. My only criticism was, for me, the bed was a little hard but that did not spoil or influence how much we loved our time here. Thoroughly recommended to anyone who wants a relaxing, quite, private holiday."

"Very clean, bathroom was spotless. A few days before arriving, my flight changed to a later departure, so I knew I wouldn’t arrive until after 10pm. The staff responded to my message promptly and was very kind to leave a key and note for me to get in. No problems driving to the place at night. The room was simple, clean and comfortable except for the bed which was very hard. I went out early to explore and planned to have breakfast when I came back around 9am, but when I returned to the property there was no staff or breakfast to be found."

"Wij reisden met vier volwassenen en de prachtige Villa Maria was perfect voor ons reisgezelschap. Twee tweepersoons slaapkamers met eigen aangrenzende douche, ruime keuken/living en prachtige buitenruimte met ruim en schoon zwembad met vier heerlijke ligbedden. Het huis is voorzien van alles wat men nodig heeft waaronder ruim voldoende servies. Bij aankomst zijn wij wat aan het dwalen gekomen (wat geheel onze eigen schuld was omdat wij de borden voor de villa hebben gemist), maar gelukkig was Alexandra snel ter plaatse om ons te “redden”. De eerste keer rijden naar het huis is even wennen (vooral wanneer je uit een erg plat land komt), maar de weggetjes zijn goed onderhouden en het went snel om er te rijden. Zoek de borden voor Villa Maria en volg deze, dat is de beste en makkelijkste route naar het huis.Myriam, de eigenaresse, was heel goed bereikbaar en reageerde snel op alle vragen vooraf en na onze eerste dagen in het huis kwam er een berichtje van haar hoe het huis beviel en of alles goed was, dit vonden wij zeer attent.Alexandra was onze contactpersoon ter plaatse en zij is erg aardig en reageert heel snel op eventuele vragen. Zij heeft met haar man een restaurant in het dorp waar je goed kunt eten. Er zijn meerdere goede restaurants op loopafstand, maar houd er rekening mee dat alles heuvelachtig is om te lopen. Wij zouden een huurauto (of scooter) aanraden bij deze woning, maar wat ons betreft: niet twijfelen, gewoon boeken!"

"The room was modern and spacious, balconies with a sea & mountain view. The buffet breakfast was fresh, with hot & cold choices, great coffee! Staff superb. Guests friendly with kind hearts. My wife was surprised when two Dutch couples presented her with a small gift, singing Happy Birthday on her birthday. Parking on site. Close to all amenities. Shout out to Anna & Constantina."
