"This was our 6th trip here, so obviously there is a lot to love. Three times as a couple, this was 3rd with two younger generations. Staff are lovely - although there is a risk of wine recommendations becoming a sales pitch. There are lots more hotel-organised trips available than before. As the hotel is family - run, the lady on reception also cooks breakfast, offering a good range of continental -style foods and also freshly cooked eggs, which can either be eaten in the dining room or in a cool open-air...

The hotel is a short walk from the centre of the resort. There are ample car parking space on-site. Overall I thought the Horizon Beach Hotel offered good value for money. "

Fantastic view from our room big balcony with chairs. Great pool and sun longers, swing seats in lovely grounds. The owners were lovely people and should be so proud of their achievements. Included breakfast was good sitting on the communal balcony enjoying the view. We had dinner one night and were very impressed 15 euros...

Fridge in room, although plugged in, didn’t appear to be working but I didn’t need it. Very short walk down steep hillside road to marina & all the restaurants - good exercise coming back up. "This was my favourite stay in Greece. The host was so warm and welcoming everytime. She made me feel like i was at home. The beach is more quiet than Matala and a 10 minute bus ride from Matala if you want to visit the town. Beautiful long beach and restaurants and very peaceful with not many tourists. I liked that the room has fridge, cooking top and kettle with full kitchen utensils. The bathroom is small but hot water is good. I will for sure recommend Haroula's place for your next stay!"
