El Dorado Seaside Palms was a beautiful propery. The service staff were kind and helpful. The rooms were a little dated / worn but kept clean. The bed and bedding were comfortable. We weren't satisfied with the food sadly, not a lot of flavor and the portions at the restaurants were small. With the amount of alcohol they serve more food options would be ideal, snacks or a dinner buffet etc. We enjoyed the entertainment at the main bar by the ocean the most. Overall we enjoyed our stay & the swim up bar.

The resort is gorgeous and the staff are amazing. The food was good, not as many choices due to low season but well made. The beach was inundated with seaweed, but workers worked tirelessly to remove it and make it usable for guests.

The rooms, restaurants and pools were very clean. The staff was Fabulous!! The beach had a lot of seaweed, but that is Mother Nature. Would definitely recommend it and we will definitely go there again.

We had a wonderful stay at El Dorado Seaside Palms. We had a swim up room and greatly enjoyed it! The pool was wonderful, clean, cool, and we enjoyed the swim up bar. The property is beautiful and lush and well taken care of. The staff is very kind and helpful. The food was delicious. I highly recommend room service breakfast for a nice slow start to your morning. We would visit again.

Hotel is old. Rooms smell musty. The staff is helpful though. We ended up leaving this hotel and going to another, newer property and were happier there. Also, the crowd is on the older side at El Dorado. Wrong vibe for us.

It was heartbreaking to see that the beach was a total disaster. Sargassum, sandbags, smelly water made it impossible to walk the beach, let alone get in and swim. We had to hang out in the pool or go to Maroma Beach, which is a part of their package. The restaurant food was average, the breakfast and lunch buffet was terrible. They had a Mexican Fiesta Night and I got sick from the food and lost half of a day being in bed and close to the bathroom. The concierge pushed their "breakfast and property tour" and offered a "free" massage if we went along to see what El Dorado has to offer. I cancelled and said I'd pay for my own massage and the concierge was obviously upset with me and not nice after that. His manager also approached us as we were waiting in the lobby. The rooms are nice, the pool is awesome, the wait staff was great, it was a nice enough place but we will never go back.

The setting of the property immediately signals peace. The visitor turns from the highway, enters a long alley lined by palm trees, and arrives at the reception buildings where 0 idling, polluting cars back up. All internal transports are done with electric carritos. Once you enter the reception area, you smell fragrances and hear relaxing music. Yoga classes on the pier over the water and a massage in the tall palapa adjacent to the water enchanted me. Vegan food is offered. The only disappointment was that espresso drinks (my afternoon latte) were limited and NOT covered in the all-inclusive ???
