"Quando siamo arrivati al cottage verso le 18.00 non si è presentato nessuno per darchi la chiave. Abbiamo chiesto ad una vicina che ha cercato si aiutarci. Alla fine, verso le 21.15 hanno rintracciato la donna delle pulizie che ci ha prestato la sua chiave. Ore che volevamo trascorrere a York e che abbiamo perso girando da una casa all'altra in cerca di aiuto. Roberta"

I do think the property does need updating a little and it would have been nice if the hot tub had been filled on arrival, the hot tub also needs a cover as unless you like cold feb rain wouldn’t have been enjoyable. We travelled with 2yr old twins and 1 cot was provided and 2 high chairs which was brilliant for us as we were able to bring our own travel cot as well. Plenty of room for the four of us. information on shops and local amenities was good. As guests we had access to a large grassed area with a climbing frame, also there was a veg patch and chickens as well. All in all a brilliant...

"Myself and my family with 2 young children stayed 4 nights. It was comfortable and had all the basics that we needed. I felt safe and quiet. They allowed us an early check-in. The location was absolutely fantastic and we could walk to everything. Thank you!"

"Communication was lacking on this booking. I didn’t receive an email beforehand with details of how to obtain key to the property, after reaching out i did get it just in time for our arrival. The cottage was plenty big enough for 4 of us but we found that the cleanliness was not up to our standards. Plenty of dust on all skirting boards behind beds etc, the sofas were really uncomfortable & sagging & there was not enough hot water for us all to have a shower in the mornings, let alone a...
