"Lovely hotel, very friendly helpful staff. Foo was excellent. Rooms lovely. Hotel is rutal, so 4 stars is simply not a lot around - but if looking for a quiet rural hotel excellent. Simple facilities- if being really picky, could do with access to movies or streaming from room's tv."

"Serious problem on phone when trying to enter the building due to the lady on line unable to explane that the room key and front door keys were in the lock box. I discussed this with the manager the following day and he accepted that the lady did have problems in explaining things. Note that anyone arriving without an operating telephone would not be able to get the code for the lock box!!! "

"The bed was comfortable and there was accessible parking . The bathroom was very new and a superb shower. Best thing was the amazing Scottish breakfast . "

"The staff were some of the best we have ever met and met our needs perfectly. They ensured we had a room that was suitable and went the extra mile to achieve this so a big thank you. The property is in the process of being updated but this didn't affect our stay except perhaps to see how well it appears to be going and I'm sure when this is finished they will have a hotel to be proud of. They have only owned this hotel for about 6 months and it is obvious they are making huge efforts to update it."
