"A nice hotel situated in the centre of Cockermouth. Lots of pubs and restaurants nearby, especially the steakhouse which is attached to the hotel. I can recommend this. Parking is in the council car park opposite for which there is a charge but it is very cheap. £6.60 for 24 hours. Inside the hotel is very old, (but nice) with low ceilings, crooked floors and exposed wooden beams. Stunning.
