"Check in was quick. Room was dated but clean and tidy. Gym was adequate. However, I barely slept. The room was ridiculously warm, even with the windows open. The walls were paper thin so I could hear everything in the neighbouring rooms. The hotel is on a main road so the traffic noise was loud with the window open. "

"Room nice with 2 lge double beds which had freshly bright bed linen. Complimentary tea/coffee biscuits. Bathroom was very clean with plenty of fresh towels and toiletries.Few local pubs and eateries within a easy walk. Not far by car to retail park with plenty of shops."

We would normally have stayed at the Premier Inn in Dumfries every time we come over from NI to visit family but will definitely be staying in the Holiday Inn in Dumfries from now on. "
