"This is a cracking flat within a short walk of Dumfries town centre. From the outside, the flats don’t look too inspiring, but it’s clearly been renovated recently and it’s been done really nicely. The two rooms are pretty much identical doubles, and the living room/kitchen is a good size. Nice views of the river from most rooms, and a lovely small balcony coming off the main living area. Would definitely come back if in the area."

A historic castle type hotel with lovely grounds with access to the river and lovely river walks . Spacious rooms with antiques . Friendly warm staff . Epic dinner menu with a really good chef. Outside of property tired but doesnt impact your stay."
